Starting Now

Tomorrow is the big day!  I'm starting the Project Hope program by Richard Simmons.  I'm going to try to journal my progress and share with you.  I know I'm not going to follow it to the letter so when I make a change I'll share it with you.  I'm not going to give away the program, just let you know how its going for me.  The first change I'm making is to not do the Blast Off! portion to start this program.  It is a more restricted diet and more intense workout.  I know that the idea is to be extreme to jump start the weight loss, however I know myself well enough to know that if I go too extreme I won't stick with it.  I'm not using the specific meal plan that is included with the program because I have a tendency to be a picky eater and my kids are even pickier and I have too much going on to have any desire to make one meal for myself and another one for my family.  Instead, I am making my weekly dinner menu like I always have, figuring out how much of my daily allowances are in the evening meal and then using whats left to decide what I will eat the rest of the day.  I'm going to be trying to get up no later than 6:30 am everyday to do my exercise (I am so not a morning person!)  Here is my exercise area:
Its in my craft room. Its out of the way, so the kids will leave me alone, plus I'm surrounded by all my crafty stuff that makes me happy.
In the interest of full disclosure and accountability, here are my starting stats:

This is supposed to be a 90 day program, so lets go!  Wish me luck!
